Abstract

ABSTRACT

Nurses do not provide nursing care services properly, so that patients who are being treated in the room feel dissatisfied with the services provided by nurses.purpose: the relationship between the quality of nursing care services and the performance of nurses and the level of patient satisfaction

Methods: This research design uses a descriptive correlational design with a quantitative approach.cross sectional. The number of samples in this study was 57 nurses and 75 patients in the inpatient room. The sampling technique in this study used the methodNon probability sampling that is purposive sampling. Instruments usedNursing Care Service Quality Research Instrument

Results: The quality of nursing care services as perceived by nurses in the inpatient ward of RSU. UKI in the good category were 47 nurses (82.5%), for the sufficient category were 8 nurses (14%) and the quality of nursing care services as perceived by nurses in the less category were 2 nurses (3.5%). Based on the test resultsChi-Squarebetween the relationship between the quality of nursing care services and nurse performance, it was found that the valuep value 0.001< α (0.05)

Conclusion:There is a significant relationship between nurse performance and the quality of nursing care services. nursing staff remain motivated and perform well, nurse welfare improvement programs, ongoing training, and clinical skills can be implemented. In addition, hospitals also need to design a nursing staff regeneration strategy so that the continuity of health services is maintained properly.
